7 Habits of Happy Kids

My school is gearing up for our second year with the 7 Habits of Happy Kids! I would like to create resources that anyone can use to implement the various habits. We'll be starting with Habit 1: Be Proactive, Habit 2: Begin With the End in Mind, and Habit 3: Put First Things First.

Does anyone have a request/idea to get me started? I'm even willing to make a deal with you!

I'll post  my super cute 7 Habits posters if I can get 20 people to:

1, Follow my blog... (Hey, I like peeps!)

2. Leave a comment with an idea/request for a Habit 1, 2 or 3 idea. I need at least 10 different ideas to get started!

If I use your idea, I promise to give you credit for it and email you a copy of whatever I come up with so we can collaborate and post it in our TpT stores (if you have one)!

Is that fair? :-)

  1. I am your first follower! I'm don't have experience with 7 Habits of Happy Kids, but you have me interested now. I am going to go and see what I can learn about it. I will also be checking back here!

  2. I'm a third grade teacher also and our school is just beginning the implementation of the 7 habits. I too am looking for ideas so I'm happy to throw any resources or ideas I have your way! One of the books I was going to start with for Habit 1: Be Proactive was The Great Kapok Tree: a Tale of the Amazon Rain Forest by Lynne Cherry. After reading the story I was going to have the kids reflect on how the animals were being proactive when the rain forest was being destroyed. Simple assignment but the dialogue is really great.
